Is there a secret to filling up? I have to go really slow or else I get a "gas bath" no to mention the splash running down the side of my boat! Besides, nowadays that stuff is too precious to spill....

You need to make sure the angle of the pump matches the angle of the hose inside the boat not to give the fuel any resistance while filling up or you will wear it. If I turn the pump I will get some...
